At Constructora B&P, C.A., Occupational Health and Safety is our highest priority. Therefore, we have adopted this commitment as a policy to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, establishing effective mechanisms that facilitate actions to create and maintain a work environment that guarantees the safety, health, and physical integrity of all “OUR EMPLOYEES” during the performance of their duties. This includes identifying, controlling, and/or eliminating risks and hazardous processes that could cause workplace accidents and occupational illnesses, as well as preserving facilities and equipment to establish conditions that allow for the development of an excellent production process. Our policy is based on the management and execution of all activities in a safe and responsible manner, complying with all current laws and regulations, as well as safe work procedures and best practices.

Therefore, we commit to:                             

  • To promote a culture of occupational risk prevention among our employees, contractors, subcontractors

  • Comply with current regulations regarding Occupational Safety and Health, as well as other legal requirements
  • Consider this Policy as an integral part of our processes and ensure its dissemination, understanding and compliance to train and empower our employees in the prevention of risks, accidents and occupational diseases.

  • Identify and continuously assess the risks and hazardous processes associated with our activities and implement control measures

  • To ensure the reliability of our equipment and tools by strictly adhering to preventive maintenance programs and to demand safe handling of work related to their activities from contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, consistent with our Occupational Health and Safety Policy and strict compliance with the relevant legislation.

  • Report, investigate and disclose all occupational accidents and illnesses in a timely manner, and implement the necessary corrective actions to prevent their recurrence.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Constructora B&P, C.A. is committed to developing its business by optimizing processes and activities at our facilities and in each of the projects we undertake, prioritizing the conservation and protection of the environment in strict compliance with environmental legislation. We establish clearly defined commitments to ensure the minimization of waste, the rational use of natural resources, and the implementation of measures required to prevent, mitigate, and compensate for the negative impacts generated by our activities, with the aim of guaranteeing environmentally responsible performance.

Therefore, our Policy is developed and based on the following principles:

  • Prevent pollution, conserve natural resources and protect the environment.

  • Use natural resources rationally, manage and reduce the production of waste, emissions and negative environmental impacts, through the application of continuous improvement programs.

  • Maintaining constant control of compliance with applicable regulations, periodically reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of environmental and safety performance in all areas of the company’s work.

  • Train and encourage in our staff and that of subcontractors a greater degree of awareness and consciousness for the environmental protection of the environment, promoting respect for and compliance with environmental measures.

  • To support and promote the continuous improvement of processes, through the adoption of clean production initiatives and good environmental practices.

  • Require our subcontractors to conduct their operations in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
